Sarah Raiss
Biography
Sarah Raiss is Lead Director of Commercial Metals Corporation in the US and on the Loblaw and RB Global boards. She has served on many public, Crown and not-for-profit boards over 26 years including Alberta Electric System Operator (Chair), Vermilion Energy, Canadian Oil Sands, Shopper’s Drug Mart and Business Development Bank of Canada.
Sarah retired as Executive Vice President of Corporate Services for TC Energy in 2011. Through 2003–2006, she was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100, and recognized in the Hall of Fame in 2007. In 2015, she was named a D100 by the National Association of Corporate Directors as one of the 50 most influential corporate directors in governance, and in 2020 named an F.ICD, Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors. She has an ICD.D.
