Dr DezsÖ J. HorvÁth CM

Biography

Dezsö J. Horváth served as Dean of the Schulich School for 32 years, making him the longest serving dean of any major business school in the world. Dezsö is a director of a number of corporations and organizations and serves on the advisory board of various business schools around the world. A former recipient of the B’nai Brith Canada Award of Merit, Dezsö was named Dean of the Year in 2004 by the Academy of International Business (AIB). In 2008, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada, and in 2012 he received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
